Breu resum de treball: La Dra. Susana Bautista ha centrat el seu treball de recerca en l'estudi de processos de degradació de terres i desertificació, en la resposta dels ecosistemes enfront del foc i en la restauració de zones seques i semiàrides degradades. Posseeix una dilatada experiència en eco-hidrologia de zones àrides, en l'anàlisi de patrons espacials de la vegetació i en l'avaluació d'ecosistemes.
